Grotto Tavern restaurant is a unique restaurant that is situated underground in and around 2000 years old caves in the old capital of Rabat close to Mdina. Grotto Tavern has the atmosphere of a French bistro and the chefs prepare dishes combining French cuisine with Maltese and Mediterranean influences, creating unique flavours. The menu is varied and contains succulent veal or rabbit dishes, fresh fish to the famous French fondues and raclettes.
