Visit the beautiful Zebbug parish church in Gozo
The Zebbug parish church is a beautiful church dedicated to Santa Marija, the Assumption. The church is figuratively covered with the semi-precious stone onyx and is definitely worth a visit.
The Zebbug parish church in Gozo was consecrated on 30 September 1726 and is actually the oldest parish church consecrated in Gozo. The church was conferred the Archipresbyteral status in 1963. If you visit the Zebbug parish church while in Gozo don't forget to admire the altar-piece of the Immaculate Conception in a chapel in the left transept.
