Delicata Wine Festival
Enjoy the annual Delicata wine festivalThe Delicata Classic Wine Festival will be held once again this year at the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta between the 9th and the 12th of August 2012. This year is the 11th edition of this great wine event and it seems to be bigger and better! All you need is to purchase a souvenir glass for just €12 and then you can try as many wines you want from the 22 quality wines offered by Delicate wine makers. Apart from wines, you will have the opportunity to taste delicious hot & cold Maltese and international food items and live entertainment with an opening concert by The Crowns, The Spiteri Lucas Band on Friday, The Big Band Brothers on Saturday and the extraordinary George Curmi (Puse) and his band on Sunday. The fully seated Grand Harbour Grill restaurant will also be open at the Saluting Battery with breathtaking views over the harbour and the historic Three cities.
