Join the oldest feast celebrations in Malta
The L-Imnarja festival is one of the oldest feast celebrated in the Maltese Islands and celebrated two very important Saints in Maltese religious lore, St Peter and St Paul. The L-Imnarja festival has developed and grown over the years and is no longer a village feast but instead a bigger event held at in Buskett Garden on the eve of June 29 the day of the feast.
The liturgical services are held in the Mdina Cathedral and in the late afternoon several fun and exiting horse and donkey races are held in a country lane situated just below and at some distance from Mdina.
The L-Imnarja event is perfect for families as Buskett Garden is a small forest where children can romp around and play.
