Maltese Crib and Christmas Art Exhibition 2011

Maltese crib and exhibition to get you into the Christmas spirit

The annual Maltese Crib and Christmas Art Exhibition is once again presented and origanized by the Malta Tourism Authority and held in the beautiful and historical Auberge d’Italie in the heart of Valletta.

A large variety of artistic objects and several cribs will be on display for the public side by side with colorful flower decoration all related to Christmas. Crib making is a very old tradition in Malta and in fact dates all the way back to the early 17th Century.  When it comes to the art on show, visitors are in for a surprise as some of it has been created using unusual materials extremely creativity.

The 2012 Maltese Crib and Christmas Art Exhibition is a lovely event for the whole family and why not visit the Barrakka Gardens just a stone throw away.

Open on: December 16 to January 6.  Not open on:  December 25, 26 and January 1, 2.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday: 9.00  -18.00, Saturday: 9.00 – 16.00, Sunday, December 18:  9.00 – 12.30
