Feast of Our Lady of Graces

Visit Zabbar during the festa and enjoy spectacular fireworks

The Feast of Our Lady of Graces is celebrated annually in the town of Zabbar in the South of Malta. The week preceeding the festa has an extensive programme of religious functions and other external celebrations. Zabbar would be fully decorated in colourful lights, statues, drapes and other decorations that make create a unique ambience. Brass bands play cheerful marches every evening, accompanied by fireworks and several nougat stalls for you to enjoy.

On the day of the feast of Zabbar, there is a procession around the town with the titular statue of Our Lady of Graces followed by brass bands and a crowd of devotees. Fireworks close the festa in style as the statue is returned back to the church.
