Celebrations start from days before the actual date, as the town celebrates in a viabrant and joyful atmosphere. St. Julian's is completely decorated in colourful lights, statues, drapes and other street decorations, making way for cheerful brass band marches taking place all over the town every evening. Spectacular fireworks keep on adding to the great atmosphere, while nougat stalls in the street tempt you with their delicacies. On the day of the feast of St. Julian's, there is a procession around the town with the titular statue of St. Julian followed by brass bands, a crowd of devotees and needless to say, fireworks.
