Celebrate the festa with the locals

The Feast of Our Lady of Loreto is celebrated every year in the town of Ghajnsielem in Gozo. For the days preceeding the festa, the town enjoys a great programme of religious and festive celebrations. The town people make sure that during this period, Ghajnsielem is fully decorated in colourful lights, statues and other vibrant decorations, creating an incredible festive atmosphere. Brass band marches take place around the town during the evening, accompanied by beautiful ground and aerial fireworks and plenty of nougat for you to taste!

On the day of the feast, there is a procession around Ghajnsielem with the statue of Our Lady of Loreto followed by brass bands and more fireworks.
