Military and Adventure Mtarfa

Military artefacts exhibited in Mtarfa

Mtarfa played an important part in military history during the British period. Being so close to the airstrip in Ta' Qali, Mtarfa was home to a military hospital, cemetery and soldiers’ quarters in the Second World War.

The Mtarfa Local Council are holding an exhibitions in the former military hospital and barracks to celebrate the importance of this village during the war, displaying wartime vehicles and military related artefacts.
