Let's celebrate that the theatre season has started
As summer is coming to an end, we can start looking forward to the theatre season at Manoel Theatre. We can once again start enjoying brilliant concerts and performances and let’s not forget to mention the highly-awaited 2012 opera, Verdi’s Il Trovatore that is showing during March 2012.
Several actors, scriptwriters, dancers, singers and musicians attended the preview night at Manoel Theatre on 8th September which was organized together with Café Premier, one of Manoel Theatre’s partners. Around 100 guests devoted to theatre were chosen to attend and mingle with their fans.
Ray Attard, chief executive officer of the Manoel Theatre has high expectations of this year’s theatre season and said that “2011/2012 should be yet another fantastic season for theatre lovers and includes some of Malta’s top talent as well as a number of international guests who will be visiting Malta to perform during this calendar year”.
This season Manoel Theatre will do slightly different things and take on several educational programmes for families and schools, also including specific events for theatre lovers with backstage pass visits; meet the cast, and many other fun and interesting collaborations to attract more people to the theatre.
What is also new for this season, is that visitors will be able to continually send their questions, suggestions, comments, questions, suggestions and ideas to a newly launched SMS number, 5061 6161.
