Intrapriza Malta 2011
Intrapriza Malta – a fair for local enterprises
Intrapriza Malta was held from the 14th of October to 16th October, 2011 in the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta Qali. It included exhibitions by Maltese enterprises who, in one way or another, obtained support from the European Union in their endeavours. Exhibitors were varied, ranging from manufacturers to innovative technology uses to local arts and crafts.
The event was organized by the Parliament Secretariat for Small Business and Land to honour the success of the Maltese entrepreneur and the important role that Maltese businesses have in the Maltese economy and in the competitiveness of the Maltese Islands.
The event was spaced over three days, and it was officially opened on Friday night with a beautiful reception attended also by Malta’s Prime Minister, Dr. Lawrence Gonzi and the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment Mr. Tonio Fenech. Throughout the weekend, the fair was accompanied by live entertainment and animation for children as well as food stalls. A good number of families and business people went around the fair to understand what Maltese entrepreneurs can offer, as well as understanding what kind of help and support companies can get by the Maltese Government and the European Union.
