St. Paul and the snake
The venomous poisonSt. Paul landed in Malta in 60AD when his vessel hit a rock. During his stay, he was bitten by a poisonous snake and he wasn’t hurt. In the Maltese language it is said that he took the venom from the snake and placed it in women’s words. (Ha l-velenu mil-lifgha, u tefghu f’ilsien in-nisa). |
