Maltese Flag
Red, white and The George CrossThe flag of Malta has to vertical strips, white in the hoist and red on the outside part. On the top left corner of the white stripe, there is a representation of The George Cross, which was given to Malta in 1942, as an award for the bravery that the Maltese showed during the Second World War. This makes the flag of Malta unique because it was decorated by another country. |
