Don’t miss out on Olly’s Prison, a play by famous Edward Bond performed at the St. James Cavallier in Valletta and directed by international leading director Chris Cooper.

The first 40 min of Olly’s Prison tells the story of a man who tries to convince his silent daughter to drink a cup of tea and how he struggles with being unemployed, living in a high rise flat and realizes hard it is to maintain self-respect in such a positing.

We get to follow Mike, who thinks that there is no real difference between being in prison or not and Olly’s Prison depicts how society is focused on punishment. This leads to the violence that punishment is meant to discourage.

Olly's Prison by Edward Bond can be distressing, but has streaks of black humor and should not be missed by anyone over 16 years of age!

This production is supported by the British Council, the Malta Arts Fund and the Malta Lotteries Good Caues Fund and is co-produced by Unifaun Theatre Productions and St James Cavalier.
