Watch the National Regatta in the Grand Harbour

31st March is a national holiday in Malta, commemorating the withdrawal of the British troops and the Royal Navy from the islands. On this day there is a cermonial activity held at the War Memorial in Floriana, but in the afternoon, you can see the traditional regatta happening in the Grand harbour. 

This national boat race is very popular especially with the towns surrounding the Grand Harbour, and many enthusiasts are practicing their boating skills throughout the year.
