Visit Qormi for one of their main feasts - St George

The Feast of St. George is celebrated annually in the town of Qormi in Malta. For a whole week, the town enjoys a festive mood, as it is wholly decorated in colourful lights, statues and other street decorations. The Parish Church is also fully decorated in luxurious lights, damasc and carpets. Brass band marches are happening every evening on the days prior to the festa, accompanied by the traditional fireworks, toghether with the nougat and ice-cream stalls distributed around the village.

On the day of the feast of  St. George, there is a procession around Qormi with the titular statue of the town followed by brass bands and a crowd of devotees.
