Marsovin Summer Wine Festival 2011, a feast for your tastebuds

Let the wine and food flow

The 4th edition of the Marsovin Summer Wine Festival was celebrated in the beautiful Hasting Gardens in Valletta on the 8th, 9th and 10th July 2011.  As the wine festival was set within the gardens, visitors could walk through the gardens, tasting over 30 local quality wines from around Malta and Gozo and enjoying the fantastic ambience and great views over Manoel Island and Sliema.

The 2011 Marsovin Wine festival was a very cultural event with famous local bands and singers performances such as Tribali, Ira Losco and belly dancers putting the crowd into a festive mood. Chill out music was also played throughout the festival as well as guitar performances and other excellent live performances to make this event a better success.

Apart from the excellent wines, there was a small selection of different foods to try such as the popular and tasty freshly made pizzas, grilled food and other Maltese specialities With you glass full and stomach full, what more could you ask for!

The entry to The Marsovin Summer Wine Festival was €10 which included a premium wine glass to take home as a souvenir and €10 worth of wine tokens. If you are in Malta during July 2012, visiting the Marsovin Wine Festival in Valletta is highly recommended.
