Independence Garden

The Independence Gardens, a green space and a playground in central Sliema

The Independence Garden is situated in the heart of Sliema just on the seafront promenade and used to be a field until it was converted into a garden in 1990.

The garden is just a stone throw away from the beach and has a playground for younger children with swings and plenty of space for children to romp around safely and freely. A fountain, flowers and colourful benches decorate the garden.

The Independence Garden is centrally located many people come here to after a stroll on the promenade to relax and surf as there is free Wi-Fi provided. There is a kiosk in this garden offering drinks and snacks, offering a relaxing place overlooking the sea view.
