Trevor Zahra's IS-SURMAST is widely considered as the best Maltese comedy ever written. When first produced it filled the Manoel Theatre for several nights, restoring Maltese theatre at the national theatre. This new production, produced by Unifaun Theatre, will be directed by John Suda and will feature a cast consisting of John Suda himself, Marcel Zammit Marmara, ANthony Ellul, Michael Tabone, Simon Curmi, Sean Buhagiar, Ninette Micallef, Mary Rose Mallia and Miriam Fiteni.
It is the story of (mis)adventures of an eccentric headmaster as he tries to run his school and his life. |
