MPO Kids - Meet the Basses

Learn about instruments while having fun

The biggest instruments of the orchestra have had enough and rebellion is in the air! The basses want to show the whole world how important they are and that they are  fed up playing "second fiddle" to the  violins, flutes and oboes!

Come and meet the basses during MPO Kids - Meet the Basses, and hear them play the lowest notes in the orchestra and enjoy one hour of great music and fun with the MPO musicians. Listen to them playing hilarious renditions of well known tunes in the deep tones of the basses.

This event in Malta is specially designed for schools and each  teacher will be given a pack with cross-curricular material that can be used in the class. During MPO Family Concerts - Meet the Basses there will be small workshops where the children will have the chance to see how each instrument works and ask questions
